Sundowns the latest to partner with Roc Nation

DSTV Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns have become the
latest South African sporting team to partner with entertainment and sports
agency Roc Nation.
The club released a statement on Tuesday talking about what the partnership will entail as they continue to strive to be the biggest football brand in Africa.
"Led and inspired by a passion to make a difference, the partnership will see Sundowns and Roc Nation Sports being a vehicle to drive change through impactful initiatives and alignments, with the greater purpose of uplifting communities and lives," the statement said.
Growing the club and continuing their press for excellence, club chairman Tlhopie Motsepe believes the partnership will do just that.
“Mamelodi Sundowns is proud to partner with a brand as renowned as Roc Nation Sports," he said.
"This partnership, with one of the leading sports agencies in the world, will contribute to the club’s vision of becoming one of the best football clubs in Africa.
"We are excited to share this relationship with our most important partner, the Mamelodi Sundowns supporters, who join us on this journey as we reach new heights in innovation, entertainment, and success.
"By working together with like-minded organizations, we can go further and inspire those around us.”
President of Roc Nation Michael Yormark believes that the partners align in many ways which made the decision an easy one.
“Roc Nation Sports is honoured and humbled to partner with one of the most iconic and successful football teams on the African continent," he said.
"The club is led by excellence; their core values are consistent with those of Roc Nation, making this a partnership based on authenticity."
Sundowns, who have dominated the domestic scene for several years, might just continue in that same vein given this new relationship that will include advice and consultation from Roc Nation's London office.
The assistance in the transfer market as well as their knowledge in the international football market will prove invaluable for the Brazilians.
