Suarez back for Old Trafford clash

Luis Suarez is available for the Capital One Cup action at Old Trafford tonight.

Suarez has served his suspension and is in contention to face Manchester United.

However, Liverpool have doubts about the fitness of Daniel Agger. The defender is nursing a rib injury.

Manchester United will almost certainly be without Robin van Persie.

Also on their doubtful list are both Rafael and Phil Jones. Wilfried Zaha is expected to play against the Reds.

Manchester United manager, David Moyes, has been quoted as saying that he needs more quality options at the squad.

Moyes hopes to strengthen his squad as soon as possible.

Moyes has made the admission in the wake of a 4-1 loss to Manchester City.

Newcastle United and Arsenal also have Capital One Cup assignments tonight.

The Magpies will host Leeds United, while the Gunners will see action at West Bromwich Albion.

Aston Villa, hammered by Tottenham Hotspur last night, have received more bad news.

Christian Benteke has a hip injury and faces up to six weeks on the sidelines.
