Stegmann to miss Sharks game
Updated | By Staff Writer

Vodacom Blue Bulls teammate, Bongi Mbonambi, was cleared of further sanction after receiving a yellow card in the match for charging into a ruck without using his arms.
Stegmann and Mbonambi both appeared before a SARU judicial committee in Pretoria on Tuesday after being sent to the sin-bin in their clash in Port Elizabeth.
Stegmann received a red card in the 69th minute of the match for contravening Law 10.4 (a), which states that a player must not strike an opponent with the fist or arm, including the elbow, shoulder, head or knee.
The judicial officer, Advocate Tokkie van Zyl, on Tuesday night reserved his judgement on the incident but announced on Wednesday that Stegmann was suspended for a week.
