Smooth houndsharks at Scottburgh
Updated | By Staff Writer

Toti - Only small fish like shad and blacktail in the protection of the bay with the odd grey shark also in the fishing mix.
Scottburgh - Point has been very busy with anglers catching quite a few different species throughout the week. Smooth houndsharks, lessers, blue rays and grey sharks were landed regularly. Towards the end of the week things started to cool down as the sea became increasingly more aggressive.
Port Shepstone - Another spot which has fished well, with many different species being landed. Bigger bronze bream have been landed by many anglers. Zebrafish and some massive blacktail have been taken on chokka baits and crayfish baits. A larger hook such as a Mustad Big Gun 5/0 with chokka and crayfish has been deadly for bigger species such as kob.
