Sharks rock! : Dawn Dunn

The Lions however, had a shocker against the Saders and I knew that they were going to throw the kitchen sink at my boys.
Well, I had nothing to worry about!
The Bad
The injuries to Odwa and our Freddie could not have come at a worse time. Fred is our second pivot lost to injury in under a month! I really hope that both their injuries are minor and that they will be back in action soon. I am not happy that the Lions dominated us in the scrums and this is something that we need to work on for the next game.
The Ugly
I really have enormous respect for Craig Joubert, however, I do not think that this has been his best game. He allowed The Lions far too much leniency at the breakdown.
This effectively slowed down our ball and in some instances, allowed a turnover. He penalised The Lions on numerous occasions for not rolling away, but not once did he give them a warning. The Sharks on the other hand, were given absolutely no leeway and I could see that Bismarck and the boys were getting really frustrated.
Jannie was given a yellow card and yet when Kanko was taken out in the air, there was no yellow for the Lions defender. I also spotted a couple of high tackles that were completely ignored.
The Good and The Awesome
The boys just rocked. It was a really physical, challenging and frustrating match for the boys and they held together and stuck to the plan. They only conceded 3 points during the yellow card. Congratulations to our Odwa for his very special 100 Super Rugby Caps. I think that he had a brilliant game. Marcell, Deysel, Bismarck, S’bura and Alberts were all amazing on attack and defence. Frans Steyn is an absolute legend! I am in awe of his monster boot. Lwazi’s try was individual brilliance! I am still smiling about it.
The boys can be really proud of their performance and the commitment that they are showing to each other and to the fans. We are on top of the combined log and I am on top of the World! Rock on baby!
