Video: Shark attack at J Bay Open
Australian surfer Mick Fanning was attacked by a shark in the final of the J Bay Open today.
The South African stop of the World Surf League has been put on hold after Fanning was attacked by a shark in the final heat of the competition.
Fanning is reportedly okay after the incident, but the final has been called off.
Fanning is a three-time world champion.
The 34-year-old revealed soon after the attack that he had managed to land a punch on the shark.
