Rovers pick Nokwe for opener
Jonsson College Rovers will start their Cell C Community Cup campaign on Saturday at 1 pm against the visiting Griffons side Welkom Rugby Club.
Coach, Greg Miller, has announced the starting line-up for what looks destined to be a tough competition this year.
Rovers were runners-up to Eastern Cape outfit, Despatch, last year and will be eager to go one better in this year's national open club rugby competition.
The Rovers side is: Jors Dannhauser, Dusty Noble, Quinton Crocker, Jongi Nokwe, Chris Micklewood (captain), Shannon Rick, Calvin Adam, Liam O'Connell, Jean Pretorius, Nicolai Blignaut, Simba Bwanya, Jabulani Mkize, Warwick Venter and Matt Jones.
