Rocky Bay fishing action
The Elite Fishing Competition will take place on 20 July 2013 from 05h00 to 16h30 at Rocky Bay on the KZN south coast.
The entrance fee is R100 and there are generous cash prizes and trophies for the heaviest edible fish.

Stu Bradford sent an update about the 2013 Kwa-Zulu Natal Bodyboarding Championships to be held in honour of the late Ivan Friedman on 3 and 4 August at Scottburgh.
This is going to be an awesome event and will form part of the exciting 2013 Africa Marine and Leisure Expo which is taking place on 3 and 4 August at Scottburgh Beach. Anglers, divers, surfers and all beachgoers can look forward to two days of beautiful beach weather starting today. We have clear skies, light WNW winds swinging to NEs later with a maximum temperature of 23 degrees in Durban.
Tomorrow is also going to be magical with a high of 25 degrees and clear skies becoming cloudy later with light NWs swinging to light variable winds later. The weather is set to change on Sunday with SW winds and some rain forecast - so make sure that you plan your beach outings for today or tomorrow.
