PHOTOS: Top riders descend on PMB for Masters
Updated | By Staff Writer
Action is set to get underway at the UCI Mountain Bike Masters World Championships.
More than 500 riders from 30 countries will compete at the Cascades Mountain Bike Park over the next few days - ahead of next week's World Championships.
Seventy-two percent of the Masters group, made up of riders in various over 30 age group categories, are from South Africa.
This week represents a gilt-edged opportunity for local riders who have been unable to travel to previous editions of the masters Champs to make their mark.
The downhill training continues on Friday.
The main focus will turn to the cross country course where all of the women's titles will be decided throughout the morning.
