PHOTO: Durban harbour grunter
Updated | By Staff Writer
Thaver landed the 5.2kg fish on Saturday morning.
The grunter was 63cm long.
It was caught on cracker shrimp at the north bank of Grunter Gully.
I hope to have a photo or two of my own to share with you shortly.
I plan to fish during the Durban Ski Boat Club Jetski Bonanza over the coming weekend.
My feeling is that dorado and tuna will be the best species to target.
I reckon starting around the ships off Umhlanga will be a good idea, depending on the weather and any info my skipper may have at his disposal.
The competition champion this weekend will win a new jetski and trailer.
Thanks to Seelan for sharing his fishing success with us.
Feel free to do the same by emailing your angling news and photos to [email protected].
