Mthembu wins second Comrades title

Bongmusa Mthembu is the 2017 Comrades Marathon champion.
The 33-year-old from KZN also won Comrades back in 2014.
Mthembu is the national 100km record holder.
Mthembu today clocked a time of 5 hours 35 minutes and 31 seconds.
He was followed home by Zimbabwean runner Hatiwande Nyamande.
Gift Kelehe, winner of the last up run, ended third in Pietermaritzburg today.
2012 champion, Ludwick Mamabolo, completed the top four in 2017.
Charles Tjiane ended fifth, Siphiwe Ndlela sixth, Teboho Sello seventh and Prodigal Khumalo eighth.
Steven Way of Great Britain claimed ninth spot.
Swede, Fritjof Fagerlund, ended tenth to win the final men's gold medal of 2017.
Camille Herron of the USA was crowned 2017 Comrades ladies champion.
Alexandra Morozova of Russia ended second.
Defending ladies champion, Charne Bosman of South Africa, was third.
