Spurs are up to third in the standings and trail Chelsea by seven points.
Liverpool are second.
The Reds trail Chelsea by five points.

West Ham United have successfully appealed the red card shown to Sofiane Feghouli.
He was sent off during their recent Premiership loss to Manchester United.
The successful appeal means Feghouli is available to face Manchester City in the FA Cup tomorrow.
City are without Fernandinho for the cup tie in London.
Fernandinho was sent off in the win over Burnley on Monday and is serving a four-match ban.

Real Madrid have beaten FC Sevilla in the first leg of their last 16 tie in the Copa del Rey.
James Rodriguez scored twice for Real in a 3-0 win at the Bernabeu last night.
Real are unbeaten in their last 38 games - A new club record.

Everton face around a year without Yannick Bolasie.
The DRC international has a serious knee injury.

Tiger Woods plans to play his first tournament of the year from 26 January onwards.
Woods has entered the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego.
Woods last played at this tournament in 2015 when an injury forced him to withdraw in the opening round.

Defending champion, Stephane Peterhansel, has won the third stage of the Dakar Rally.
Sebastian Loeb remains the overall leader.
Giniel de Villiers and Nasser Al Attiyah both endured difficult days.
They have dropped well off the pace.
De Villiers ended 36 minutes behind stage three winner Peterhansel.
