Mixed day for Hilton in Stellenbosch
It has been a mixed first day for Hilton College at the national Coca Cola Schools T20 Challenge cricket tournament.
Grey College hammered Hilton by 116 runs in their opening fixture in Stellenbosch.
Hilton later bounced back well to defeat Volkskool by 56 runs.
Gavin Morris made 52 not out for Hilton in their victory, while Angus Curtis was dismissed for 47.
Wihan Victor had earlier punished Hilton severely in their loss to Grey.
Victor slammed 12 sixes in his 114 from 51 balls.
Stephen Cook, meanwhile, made 122 for the Bizhub Lions on day two of their Sunfoil Series clash with the Sunfoil Dolphins in Johannesburg.
