Messi v Ronaldo duel resumes
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will once again go head to head this time for the UEFA Player of the Year award.
Who is better, Ronaldo or Messi?
That's the question everyone is asking heading into the UEFA Awards for the Player of the year in 2012-2013.
Ronaldo finished as the leading goal scorer in the Champions league with a tally of 12 goals, while Messi found the back of the net 8 times.
Messi scored 60 goals in all competitions, while Ronaldo netted 55 times.
46 of Messi's goals were in La Liga and 34 for Ronaldo.
One thing for sure it's going to be a close call, other players in contention for the ward are Frank Ribery, Arjen Robben, Thomas Mueller and Bastian Schweinsteiger all of Bayern Munich.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PSG), Robert Lewandowski (Borussia Dortmund) Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspurs) and Robin Van Persie (Manchester United).
The Ceremony will be held on the 29th of August in Monaco.
