Mashaba names Bafana starting XI

Newly appointed Bafana Bafana head coach, Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba, has named his squad to face Sudan in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier this evening.

Mashaba takes charge of his first official match of his return to the role after fairing well with the national U20 squad.

Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa, will captain the team in the absence of the injured Itumeleng Khune.

The Bafana attack will be led by Tokelo Rantie and Amazulu striker Bongani Ndulula.

The defence will be marshalled by Anele Ngcongca who has 35 caps.

He will play alongside Thulani Hlatshwayo, Thabo Matlaba and Eric Mathoho.

Ajax Cape Town midfielder, Keagan Dolly, will also feature in tonight's match.

The match will take place at the El Merreikh Stadium in Khartoum at 19h00 SA time.
