The Trekking for Trash Team, who started their expedition in October last year in Alexander Bay, have just arrived on the KZN south coast. The incredible pair – Michael Baretta and Camilla Howard – are walking the length of our coastline collecting trash and creating awareness about litter on our coastline. This is an amazing and much-needed initiative. They are now in Port Edward and are heading north this week. Please look out for them in your area and feel free to join them in cleaning up your local beach and offering some encouragement and support. They are hoping to remove a total of 1.5 tonnes of litter from SA beaches.

Durbanites are in for a partly cloudy start to the morning with a 30% chance of thundershowers later and light NNW winds peaking at only 9 knots today. Temperatures in Durban will range from 18–28 degrees. So we are in for another great day on our beaches.
