Logie advances in Queensland
Durban surfer, Travis Logie, is through to the third round of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast.
Logie will face Taj Burrow next in Australia.
Logie had earlier defeated John John Florence in the second round.
Jordy Smith lost a very tight second round heat.
Tiago Pires edged Smith by 12.70 to 12.67 in Queensland.
Pires has a third round date with Kelly Slater.
Defending world champion, Mick Fanning, is also throught to round three.
Fanning will next meet Dane Reynolds.
