KZN shad competition soon
Next month sees the start of The Kingfisher Biggest Shad Competition. The event runs in August and September.
No frozen fish can be entered.
Most importantly please remember there is a bag limit of four and the minimum size is 30cm.
The latest Kingfisher report says that it is has been unusually quiet for anglers over the past few days. We are used to very good catches of shad and garrick at this time of the season. .
It looks like we are in for a gorgeous Friday in Durban with clear skies, a maximum temperature of 26 degrees and NNW winds blowing of up to 28 km/h.
We have similar weather conditions lined up for Saturday with WNW winds, but cooler weather with SW winds and a chance of some light rain on Sunday.
