Australia have ended day two of the fourth Ashes Test on 164 for nine in their first innings.

Australia are replying to the England first innings effort of 255 in Melbourne.

Brad Haddin is undefeated on 43, while Chris Rogers is out for 61.

James Anderson and Stuart Broad have taken three wickets each at the MCG.

Kevin Pietersen had earlier batted well for England.

Pietersen top scored with 71.

Mitchell Johnson was the pick of the Australian bowlers.

Johnson claimed five for 63 in his 24 overs.

Australia have a winning 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
