The Cell C Sharks have confirmed that Springbok and Sale Sharks
centre Rohan Janse van Rensberg will join the Durban-based franchise on a three
year deal from the beginning of next season.
Janse van Rensberg spent several seasons with the Lions in Johannesburg which led to him being selected for the Springboks where he won his first and only cap so far during the end of year tour in 2016.

The 27 year old then joined Sale initially on loan in 2017 before he signed a long-term deal with the Manchester-based side where he has accumulated over 40 caps in the five years that he has been with the team.
Speaking on the Sharks Instagram account the midfielder is looking forward to making Durban his home as he continues his push for more international rugby.
“I am very honoured and privileged to be joining the Sharks family from next season,” Janse van Rensberg said. “I can’t wait to be back in South Africa and link up with the boys and play some exciting rugby.
“I cannot wait to finally meet everyone and build some great relationships over the next three years.”
The signing of Janse van Rensberg comes a day after the
Sharks announced the signing of Maties fullback and Varsity Cup Back that Rocks
Nevaldo Fleurs.
Fleurs was instrumental in getting Stellenbosch to the final of the university
showdown before they lost to UP-Tuks in the final.
