Injury blows for Bulls
Updated | By Staff Writer

The Blue Bulls will be without Jean Cook (broken thumb), Frik Kirsten (ankle) and Callie Visagie for Saturday's Currie Cup match against the Golden Lions at Loftus Versfeld.
Cook will be out of action for six weeks, while Kirsten is expected to be out for two weeks.
Visagie will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury he picked up in the win over Griquas last Friday.
Team doctor Org Strauss also confirmed that Akona Ndungane would be doubtful for the rest of the week, as the veteran winger recovers from a hamstring strain, with a call on his participation in Saturday's clash expected on Wednesday.
Tony Jantjies (back), Jono Ross (shoulder), Rudy Paige (shoulder), Waylon Murray (neck) and Francois Venter (mouth) will only train tomorrow, Strauss said, but all should be available to play.
