Igesund to rescue Highlands Park
Updated | By Gareth Jenkinson
Former Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund will take over as coach of Highlands Park.

After being promoted to the Premier Division of the ABSA Premiership, Highlands Park have been struggling to emulate the form that saw them move into the top flight this season.
They have won just one of five games and their latest loss to Supersport United over the weekend sounded a death knell for Allan Freese.
Igesund comes in with an impressive track record having coached Bafana Bafana for two years, nevermind coaching various PSL clubs over the past 15 years.
He will be looking to make an immediate improvement at the Johannesburg outfit that will be desperate to stay in the PSL this year. Time will be on his side though, as their next fixture against Free State Stars is only in two weeks time.
