Great whale sightings in Sodwana
Updated | By Staff Writer
The diving conditions have been up and down, yesterday the viz wasn’t good on the top but opened up to 20m vis below that. There is very little surge at the moment and the current keeps changing all the time.
There have been some awesome marine life sightings with a Southern Right whale and a whale shark yesterday and humpback whales everyday!
Anglers have had mixed success with some decent catches of tuna coming out.
Surfers in the area have scored with good surf at Ponta and Sodwana recently.
Durbanites can expect partly cloudy weather this morning with a 30% chance of light rain later. We are in for a high of 22 degrees with SSW winds blowing. The sea conditions are beautiful for surfers and paddlers but we have strong onshores the rest of the week so try to make the most of it today.
