Good fishing at Umkomaas
Updated | By Andre Bloem
The latest Kingfisher angling update says that the Umkomaas river mouth area is still producing lots of small snapper salmon with the odd grunter also being caught.
The deep-water point off Scottburgh has seen its fair share of activity lately, especially when the weather has played its part. Spinning specialists throwing bullet spoons have targeted snoek with mixed success.
When the sea conditions are good Pennington is also produced the odd snoek.
Port Shepstone still seems to be producing some kob as well as a few small skates.
