Glenwood softball success

The Glenwood High under-19s have stretched their impressive winning streak.

U19A semi-finals

Northwood U19A withdrew from the semi-finals and so Glenwood progressed to the final.

U19A league finals

Glenwood took control from the start with excellent pitching by Stoltz and everyone contributing with the bat. When Callan Pearce hit a huge home run, the game was put beyond the grasp of Westville.

Glenwood won 12-3.

As far as can be determined at this stage, Glenwood U19A has not lost a single match in the last 8 years.

U 16 A league semi-finals

Glenwood U16B vs Westville U16A

Glenwood lost 1-3 to Westville, eventual winners of the league.

Glenwood U16A vs Northwood U16A

Glenwood came from behind to win 8-7 and progress to the finals.

U 16 A league 3rd and 4th playoff

Northwood withdrew from the  3rd and 4th playoff, so Glenwood U16B finished 3rd in the A league.

U 16A league Final

Glenwood U16A vs Westville U16A

The Glenwood team playing well below par, were beaten 8-3, to be placed second in the A league.

U16B league

Glenwood U16C were placed second to Westville U16B in the round-robin format of the B league.
