Fiji wins for Jordy and Kelly

Jordy Smith is through to the third round at the Volcom Pro Fiji.

Smith has beaten Glenn Hall in second round action at Tavarua.

Adriano de Souza, who travelled to Fiji as the championship leader, was a second round loser on Wednesday.

Yadin Nicol ousted the Brazilian in a very tight heat.

Others to secure second round victories included Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson, Sebastian Zietz, Julian Wilson and Taj Burrow.

Durban surfer, Travis Logie, won his first round heat and advanced directly to the third round.

Jordy Smith later beat Kieren Perrow in the third round.

Logie is yet to surf his third round heat.
