Double home games coming up for Hollywoodbets Dolphins
Updated | By Nick Tatham
The
Hollywoodbets Dolphins are back in CSA One Day Cup action this week with two
home matches at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium starting with a clash against
the Momentum Multiply Titans on Wednesday.
The Dolphins have had some bad luck this campaign as rain has influenced three results so far, however they remain in third spot on the table with one win from four matches.
With two home matches back-to-back for the Dolphins, they can use their home conditions to their advantage.
“I think it's the humidity that the teams battle with!” Hollywoodbets Dolphins captain Eathan Bosch said with a laugh.
“In terms of our batting group and bowling group we know what we want to achieve and how we can achieve that here at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead.
“The boys have been preparing nicely over the last few days and we can use our own conditions in our favour for the next two matches.”
Gaining momentum into the final push towards the play-off will be crucial for the Dolphins and Bosch knows that his side has to be on top of their game for the rest of the campaign.
"These two matches are going to be very important for us with just one other game after Sunday and the Titans and Western Province are two very good sides that we are playing.
"With only three matches left and with what has already happened we are going to have to keep an eye on that log and make sure that we are winning our matches," he commented.
The Dolphins will be on the road for their final match so these two are the last two home matches for the group phase of the competition and Bosch is urging the fans to come and get behind his side.
"I encourage everyone to come out and get behind the Dolphins this week whether it be Wednesday or Sunday and support the boys.
"We need your support this week and we play our cricket for you so it would be fantastic to see the fans in the ground this week," Bosch mentioned.
