Dolly stars in Bafana win
Updated | By Gareth Jenkinson
Mamelodi Sundowns star Keegan Dolly produced a masterclass that sealed a 4-nil win over Gambia for Bafana Bafana.
The victory kept Bafana’s hopes of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations alive with just one qualifying game left to play.
Dolly was involved in all of South Africa’s goals on Saturday night. He set up Thamsanqa Gabuza’s two first-half goals. He then went on to score two of his own in the second half to put a nail in Gambia coffin infront of their home crowd in Bakau.
The result sees Bafana move one point behind second-placed Mauritania in group M. The two sides will meet in the final qualifier in September – which will effectively be the decider of who progresses to the African showpiece next month.
