Di Maria joins United for a record fee
The British transfer fee record was shattered yesterday as Manchester United secured the services of Angel Di Maria.
Di Maria has agreed to a five-year deal with the Red Devils.
United paid almost 60-million pounds for the Argentine winger.
The deal was worth exactly 59-million pounds.
The 26-year-old will be paid 200-thousands pounds per week until 2019.
The previous British record transfer fee was the 50-million pounds Chelsea dished out to sign Fernando Torres.
