Delport recently returned to the Dolphins fold after his spell in the Pakistan Super League.

Delport rubbed shoulders with top international players in Pakistan and enjoyed the experience.

"You know the Pakistan Super League is world-class. The tournament featured top T20 players like Kevin Pietersen, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Brendon McCullum. So it was a good experience for me and I learnt a lot," Delport said.

The Dolphins will host the Knights in Durban today and Delport expects the Knights to turn to pace at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead.

"Duanne Olivier is back and they also have Marchant de Lange and Shadley van Schalkwyk. So I think they are going to come with a bit of pace. The guys are looking forward to it and we have played well against them this season. So we can take it from there," Delport added.

The Dolphins are currently second in the standings and Delport says securing a home final is a priority.

"I think it is very important. We have not had a home final in white-ball cricket. I know the ground staff and the admin staff would love a home final and there is a good buzz going around. They keep wishing us well and they really want us to get that home final. Getting a home final will also give us a week off as we will not have to be involved in the play-off. You know we love playing at Kingsmead and if we can just back our skills, we can take it all the way," Delport concluded.
