Comrades Marathon road closures

Up to 16 000 athletes are expected to line up at the start of the 86.9 kilometre route.
The race starts at 05h30 and the cut-off is at 17h30.

Polly Shortts - Closed 04h00 to 07h30
Ashburton - Closed 04h30 to 08h30
Lion Park - Closed 04h45 to 09h15
Umlaas Road - Closed 05h00 to 10h00
Camperdown - Closed 05h30 to 11h00
Cato Ridge - Closed 05h40 to 11h30
Drummond - Closed 06h00 to 12h30
Botha's Hill - Closed 07h00 to 14h00
Hillcrest - Closed 07h30 to 14h30
Kloof - Closed 08h00 to 15h55
Pinetown and Fields Hill - Closed 09h00 to 16h00
Cowies Hill - Closed 09h00 to 17h00
45th Cutting - Closed 09h00 to 18h00
Samora Michel St. (Aliwal Str.) between Monty Naicker St. (Pine Str.) and Anton Lembede Str. (Smith Str.) - Closed 09h00 to 18h00
Dr Pixley Ka Seme Str. (West Str.) 1 June and 2 June between Dorothy Nyembe Str. (Gardiner Str.) - Closed 17h00 to 07h00 and Samora Machel Str. (Aliwal Str.) - Closed 17h00 18h30.
