Cobras thump Dolphins
Sunfoil Dolphins have suffered a heavy defeat in the Ram Slam T20 match in Cape Town.
Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras thumped the Dolphins by nine wickets at Newlands on Sunday night.
The Cobras reached their victory target of 135 in the 17th over.
Richard Levi and Dane Vilas shared in an unbroken second wicket partnership of 115.
Levi cracked his 80 not out from 53 balls..while Vilas faced 37 balls for his undefeated 43.
England international, Ravi Bopara, had earlier top scored for the Dolphins with 60.
Bopara faced 44 balls and hit three sixes at Newlands.
Bizhub Lions beat the Chevrolet Warriors by 47 runs in another Ram Slam T20 match yesterday.
Hardus Viljoen bowled superbly for the winners in Potchefstroom.
Viljoen claimed three for 12 in his four overs.
Sunfoil Dolphins will play their next Ram Slam T20 match on Wednesday.
That is when they will face the Chevrolet Knights in Bloemfontein.
