Chiefs crowned champions
Updated | By Andre Bloem
Kaizer Chiefs have won their third Absa Premiership title and their first since 2005.
Amakhosi sealed the league championship on Wednesday night when they drew 1-1 with Supersport United.
Lehlohonolo Majoro scored for Chiefs in Polokwane, while Sibusiso Zuma equalised for Supersport.
Black Leopards remain bottom of the log and are still two points behind Chippa United.
Orlando Pirates beat Leopards 4-1 in Soweto last night.
Ndumiso Mabena netted twice at Orlando Stadium.
Tlou Segolela and Oupa Manyisa also scored for the Buccaneers.
Leopards will play their final league game of the season at Free State Stars on Saturday.
Chippa will face Amazulu in their closing fixture.
Usuthu will host Chippa at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
A draw in Durban should be enough for Chippa to avoid automatic relegation.
They have a much better goal-difference than Leopards.
