Chellan to step down as Dolphins CEO

However, he will stay on for an additional three months at the board's request.
Chellan has held the position since October 2009.
He has overseen the growth of the Dolphins and KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union (KZNCU) business and has put strong building blocks in place for the future, the board said in a statement.
"I must commend Jesse for his hard work and loyalty," said KZNCU president Faeez Jaffar yesterday.
"One of his legacies is growing the game in non-traditional areas and harnessing this talent. The results will doubtless be seen in years to come."
Board chairman Graham Abrahams said: "His successes are plain to see. His youth strategy, in particular, has begun to pay dividends and he leaves us in better shape than when he arrived."
