Brazil release Scolari
Brazil have decided not to renew Luis Felipe Scholari's contract following the hosts failure to reach their home world cup final.
The Brazilian Football Federation have confirmed that they will not further their relationship with "Big Phil".
Scholari's contract will not be renwed by the (CBF).
The 2002 world cup winning coach did say the Federation will make a decision about his future as head coach after the conclusion of the tournament.
Brazil were humiliated 7-1 by the world champions Germany in the semi-finals, thereafter the hosts suffered a 3-0 defeat to the Netherlands in a 3rd and 4th playoff match.
