Two influential Springboks have been ruled out of action for the next two months after picking up injuries in the last few days.

Firstly burly Lions centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg, who made his Bok debut last year, picked up a serious knee injury in the Johannesburg outfit's Super Rugby win over the Stormers last weekend.

He is set to undergo surgery tomorrow and faces around 12 weeks on the sidelines.

To make matters infinitely worse, Springbok and Bulls flyhalf Handre Pollard hurt his ankle in practice on Thursday morning and news from Loftus suggests that he could be out for 10 weeks.

That leaves the Springboks in a massive conundrum. Pat Lambie is still a number of weeks away from his return to action after fracturing a vertebrae in his back. Bok coach Allister Coetzee will be hoping Lambie makes a successful recovery at the Sharks in time for the French Test matches.
