Birkett, Zondi extend Dusi lead

Andy Birkett and Sibonelo Zondi have won the second stage of the Dusi Canoe Marathon.

The duo crossed the finish line at the Inanda Dam after two hours and 57 minutes.

Hank McGregor and Jasper Mocke are still in second place, while Cam Schoeman and Jakub Adam - from the Czech Republic - round off the top three.

Abbey Ulansky and Robyn Kime continue to lead the ladies race.

They are 90 seconds clear of Abby Adie and Ana Adamova in second spot.
