Bafana gelling says Ngcongca
Updated | By Andre Bloem
Bafana Bafana defender, Anele Ngcongca, says the national squad is reaping the benefits of spending time together in Durban.
He revealed today that tactical work is progressing nicely ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Botswana on Saturday.
Ngcongca says he expects an organised Bafana defence at Moses Mabhida Stadium: "We spoke to the coach as individuals and also collectively as a defence and we are prepared for anything."
Ngcongca believes Bafana know enough about the Zebras, especially the Botswan players currently on the books of Absa Premiership clubs.
Ngcongca says Bafana also learnt a lot during the World Cup qualifier in Botswana.
Bafana must win this weekend to keep their 2014 World Cup dreams alive.
They must also hope that Ethiopia fail to beat Central African Republic in the other qualifier on Saturday afternoon.
CAR will meet Ethiopia in Brazzaville.
Both games will start at 15h30 - South African time.
