Bafana Bafana out of Chan
Nigeria beat Bafana Bafana 3-1 in their African Nations Championship match, as South Africa were eliminated from the competition, in their final group A clash in Cape Town last night.
Christantus Ejike opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, before Ifeanyi Ede scored the second from the penalty spot eight minutes later.
Ejike made it 3-0 to Nigeria in the 63rd minute to put the result beyond doubt.
Bernard Parker scored a consolation goal for the hosts, through a penalty in the 81st minute.
