Anderson and Federer advance

Kevin Anderson has won his second round match at the Rome Masters tennis tournament.
Anderson was too good for 11th seed Marin Cilic.
The South African beat Cilic 6-3 7-6 on Tuesday.
Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic also won in the second round yesterday.
Federer drilled Potito Starace 6-1 6-2, while Djokovic defeated Albert Montanes 6-2 6-3.
Others through to the third round in Rome are Tomas Berdych, Serena Williams, Juan Martin Del Potro and Petra Kvitova.
Anderson will face Berdych in his third round outing.
Berdych is the sixth seed in Rome.
Anderson has never beaten Berdych and lost to him in Madrid just a few days ago.
