A video that has been shared on a community crime watch page shows three women stealing a customer's handbag.
One of the trio is seen strategically reaching for the handbag while another keeps watch - and proceeds to pass it to her accomplice.
It is reported the incident that occurred at a Spur branch in Plumstead, Cape Town late last month with the footage recently coming to light.
It has since been reported to police in Cape Town.
