Bodycam footage was released earlier today by Hawaiian police following the fatal shooting of a South African man and former KZN rugby player - Lindani Myeni.
He had been living in the American state with his wife and children.
According to media reports, police were responding to a burglary in Nuuanu when he was killed.
According to reports in HawaiiNewsNow, a local television station, the acting Deputy Chief of police claims the former rugby player was shot multiple times after an officer told him to get on the ground and comply.

Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi said in a statement that he supported the police’s decision to release the footage. “However, I am waiting for a formal debrief on this incident, which I have requested from Chief Ballard, before I make any additional comments.”
Lindani met his wife Lindsay while she was in South Africa a few years ago, they have two children together.
"They shot my king. I was with him at 7:30pm."
"He went for a drive to clear his mind after a fun family day. His green card interview was next week. I called and he said he was on his way home at 7:52pm," she explained.
"By 8:10pm cops had shot him four times. How can you justify that?!"
“What do I tell my babies when they cry for him?"
“He has my heart. I will never find a perfect love like him. He was indescribable. Righteous but not self-righteous. Loving and wise. He was too good for this broken world.”
“We need justice. Why are three trained officers afraid of one unarmed man? They just left me a widow at 29 with two babies in diapers.”
