WATCH LIVE: Ramaphosa faces vote of no confidence
Updated | By Nokukhanya N Mntambo
The vote of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa is set for 2pm on Wednesday.
This despite the African Transformation Movement’s last-ditch attempt to halt the vote.
If proceedings go ahead, then it will be under a shroud of uncertainty with the pending court challenge launched by ATM, who wants a secret ballot vote.
On Monday, the Western Cape High Court struck its application from the roll after the party failed to prove urgency.

National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has already declined the party’s request for a closed vote.
The ATM has described Parliament’s decision to go ahead with the vote pending its court application as ‘illegal’.
