Neighbours of the 10-year-old girl who was allegedly raped by her stepfather at their home in Verulam say they will stand by her as they do not know if she has any family.
The 43-year-old man is due to appear in court today.
The community allegedly assaulted him on Sunday - claiming he had been abusing the little girl after her mother died several years ago.
