Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
President Cyril Ramaphosa will meet with leaders of the Islamic community to discuss two recent attacks at a mosque near Verulam, north of Durban.
The Hawks have confirmed that the device found in the Imam Hussain Mosque in Ottawa on Sunday night was a bomb.
The discovery came just days after a group of knife wielding men stormed the building - killing one man and leaving two others hurt.
Ramaphosa says they're concerned.
Ramaphosa and other ANC leaders called an urgent meeting in KZN yesterday to address the spate of political killings in the province.
"We were also able to our shock and concern about the attacks that took place - in the Mosque in this province. We will also be paying attention to that in due course to discuss these things with the leadership of the Muslim community and in this province as well," he said.
