UKZN's Howard campus reopens after protests
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The University of KwaZulu-Natal's Howard College Campus is expected to reopen its doors again from Monday.

This after a spate of violent student protests last week, which forced the university to shut down the campus.
The university management says they reached the decision following assessments of the situation on campus.

UKZN spokesperson Normah Zondo says while they are confident the academic programme will make a smooth resumption, security will continue to monitor the situation at all campuses.
"However, access to campus, like all the other UKZN campuses, will be granted to individuals who are in possession of valid university access permits. That includes staff, students and any other individuals who wish to visit UKZN campuses."
