Tongaat teen murder case postponed again
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
The case against six men accused of murdering Tongaat teenager, Andile Mbuthu will be back in court in December.
They made a brief appearance in the Verulam Magistrate's Court today.
Prosecutors say the matter has been postponed for further investigations.
Sixteen-year-old Andile was found murdered and dumped in a local river in May after being assaulted for allegedly stealing liquor at a tavern.
He'd been missing for two weeks before the discovery.
One of the accused - Mlungisi Thabethe - was granted bail on Friday after approaching the Durban High Court to set aside the lower court's decision in July to deny them bail.

Thabethe is Andile's cousin.
Andile's aunt, Zodwa Jali, says they weren't informed of his release.
"They were supposed to contact us and tell us they are giving him bail but on what grounds? They didn't tell us anything."
"We are living in fear now because we don't know what is going to happen next. We are very much disappointed," she said.
