Suspect in Wentworth teen's murder ditches bail
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
An 18-year-old accused of murdering another Durban teenager has abandoned his bail application.

Dondre Addison made his second appearance in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Friday.
He was arrested over the weekend, several days after 17-year-old Leyton Fynn was shot and killed on a road in Wentworth.
Fynn was attacked last week Tuesday while walking with friends to holiday classes.

Leyton's father, Tyrone Fynn, was at court today with other members of his family.
He says the courts must set an example by meting out the harshest punishment.
"It will break us if he gets bail. We will look at the law as just not working."
Addison has also appeared in another court on an attempted murder charge in a separate case.
