Social grant applications found dumped in Ndwedwe
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Authorities are looking into how a pile of social grant applications ended up on the street in Ndwedwe, north of Durban.

A passerby came across the documents last weekend. It is suspected they could have been taken during a burglary at the local post office earlier this month.
The building - which is situated next to the SASSA offices - was set alight during the break-in.
The South African Post Office's Nobuhle Njapha says a thorough investigation is being conducted.
"An employee has been suspended following the incident. We would like to apologise to our customers", she said.
"We would like to assure them their payments will not be affected", Njapha said.
