Siam Lee case: Murder accused back in court for bail bid

The man accused of the murder of Durban woman, Siam Lee will apply for bail in the Durban Magistrate's Court today.

Philani Ntuli's facing charges of kidnapping, murder, fraud and defeating the ends of justice among others.
Siam Lee's family and friends are again expected to come out in their numbers today.
A family friend has told Newswatch they have faith in the magistrate and hope Ntuli will be kept behind bars.
More than 2,800 people have already signed an online petition calling for 'Justice for Siam Lee', demanding that the accused not be granted bail.
During his appearance on Friday, the 29-year-old Ntuli claimed to have been assaulted by officers, telling the magistrate police had also tried to force him to confess to the murder.
Lee went missing from a Durban North house early last month.
Her badly burnt remains were found a few days later in a sugarcane field in New Hanover in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
